Proexport Sicily

Sicily, geographic centre of the Mediterranean, offers a cultural, artistic and gastronomic heritage as a result of the succession of dominations by the greatest civilizations of the past. Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Arabs and Normans competed for this land in the centre of the Mediterranean as well as for it’s flavours that it offers by means of it’s fish, olives, grapes and grain.
In order to promote this heritage, Proexport Sicily Consortium was founded with a specific mission to introduce the excellence of Sicilian products to the world.
Born from the union of solid familiar companies, each working within their own specific area for several generations, the Consortium offers a variety of products whose superior quality is the result of the ancient wisdom combined with the modern emphasis on industrial production. Seven medium sized manufacturers, with an overall gross income of over 60 million euro annually and more than 400 employees, who satisfy, with their diversified products an entire division of the oenological and gastronomic sector.
